Overview
FIC charges students fees for various activities. In some cases, the fee covers the cost of delivering the service, in other cases, the fee acts as a disincentive or penalty.
Tuition Fees and other charges
Tuition fees are levied by FIC to cover the costs of delivering a course or program. The latest tuition fees are available on the FIC Website or in the FIC Brochure.
Tuition fees will vary from year to year and depending on the program and number of courses the student wishes to enrol in. Students are liable to pay the tuition fee applicable to a subject in the semester that they are enrolled in that subject. Subject prices may vary depending on the program that the student is enrolled in. Fees on all offers are subject to change, though FIC makes every effort to ensure that they are correct at the time of printing. When fees are increased, all FIC agents and representatives are notified.
All students at FIC pays the International rates for tuition fees.
It is the student's responsibility to ensure that tuition fees are paid before enrolment at the commencement of each semester. If tuition fees are outstanding, the student will be blocked from enrolling in a new semester's courses and must contact the FIC office immediately.

Payment Options
FIC maintains a "no cash" policy. This reduces the security risk to FIC and to students who would be carrying large amounts of cash. There are a range of other payment options to ensure that all students can access a suitable option:
Credit Card
1. Credit Card (Mastercard and Visa only) - accessed via the FIC website at Credit Card Payment Link
2. Credit card payments can also be processed at the front desk at FIC.
Debit Card
1. Debit card payments - accessed via the FIC office. It should be noted that long delays can be experienced during peak periods such as the beginning of semester. Students are advised to check with their bank regarding the maximum debit card payment; generally it is around $500 per day.
Bank Draft (No personal cheques accepted)
1. Bank Draft - mail or deliver the bank draft to FIC accompanied by the student's details, so the bank draft may be applied to the correct account.
2. Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) or Telegraphic Transfer (TT) - students may contact their bank and ask for a transfer to the FIC bank account (details below). A copy of the deposit slip must be provided to QIBT so the payment can be applied to the correct student account.
FIC Banking details are as follows:

Unpaid fees
All student accounts which have outstanding fees at the end of a semester, will result in the student having their final grades, and official academic record withheld until such time as all outstanding fees and charges (including late payment penalties) are paid in full. The implications of this situation could result in a student being unable to graduate from FIC; or FIC withholding results from SFU for transfer purposes.
Refunds
A Fee Refund Policy is in place for any student who wishes to apply for a refund of tuition fees.
